I noticed the duck as soon as you mentioned it (that's a great addition to the shot, the definition of "happy accident") but it took me a minute to notice the baby doll's head in the cage. Genuinely creepy. I love the use of cages in your work; I'm sure it means something very deep but I'm not intelligent enough to figure it out without flailing around like a mental patient.
The play of shadows and light on the wall is interesting, too.
this stuff kind of reminds me of my favorite book series scary stories to tell in the dark, ,.all of stephen gammel's illustrations are really surreal and creepy. .they still freak me out. .i love this photo,, nice and dark. .and mrs.duck! .or mr.duck, .or confusedandhasntreallydecidedwhatitwantstobe.duck,, .made out of LIGHt nonetheless. .what a funny coincidence
