Lauren. God I wish I would have found out about you sooner. When I saw the first of your photographs (that I came across anyway), to this day I feel the strangest interconnection with you. My vibrating at a much higher level than most, if not all, pretty much forced me to give up on the human race.
Then I came across your photos; gathered some information, tried contacting certain parties (with no luck)...well, let's just say...I don't know what to say.
I wish I were there!!!
Take care of yourself...maybe in a next life huh!?

Matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration. We're all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively. There's no such thing as death; life is just a dream, we our the imagination of ourselves. -Bill Hicks, RIP
I believe it is. I have had the frame for years, the finish is consistent, it has never discolored and it has considerable heft. It's a lovely frame, although the gold leaf I applied is not really gold.
Just curious what the third object is: Knifes, key's and ? Even without the window in the front it will be a strong picture..my opinion. But I like the concept. Trying to figure out what you want to tell and why.Maybe a hint for your next work in progress..
I understand..Old works seems like keys, waiting to unlock or lock ideas to complete or correct them in the future. When you're ready for them. The glass eyes makes it interesting; one free and the other on a chain. But, they're both death objects knowing objects..non is free. Let's me think about freedom. Even free..it is not free at all. Just wishful thinking..not more or less.
Your work is very symbolic the most of the time I presume. Still with our different cultures, we don't seem to catch the real story in your work. Keys could be a symbol"opening" things..but even"closing"things. Knifes seems to have a negative feeling..but can mean deliberation too, what is positive. The eyes..from the beholder or the watcher? These a several and different stories in one picture. That's what I like about your work. It isn't only your story you tell, but the story in each one of us..if we want to look at it.
Thanks for reacting..reason more for me to go deeper in your work..to tell what we see. So you can compare what you show us..is what you expect by your pictures.
