Happy 17th Anniversary to me.
3/5/95 I was run over by a car (Honda Civic) on the lower east side (not intentionally). Went up, over, partially through the windshield, back out again and bounced off the curb. (So I'm told.) There were a number of broken bits but the doctors were amazed I had no concussion. They said it was because it appeared I had a thicker than average skull. Just what I always wanted, for my mother to have medical proof. I consider it a happy anniversary.

Anniversaries (and birthdays) are interesting things to me. For, as I see them, not only are they a day to remember a great event, but they can also be looked at as a form of victory as well; for it is another year passed and we are still alive to remember. Happy (belated) anniversary.
