And lest the new inspire us to forget those that came before:

The precious child- this is where I began.
'31 visual attempts at a justification for suicide.'
'Drowning, not waving'
The Strange Child.
But it is a hopeful little tome

The Best I Have to Give

It is 76 pages, 4/4 full colour press printing. The cover is handmade with printed title and Indian handmade cornflower paper. Some people will get more flowers than others. You know how I like flowers.
I punched and comb bound each one myself.
And it is as cheap as it can be, again thanks to the kindness of strangers.
$26 includes US shipping + handling.
(I never actually charge for handling or really understand what handing is but it sounds more professional.)
$31 includes International shipping (any country).
This is the best I have to give.
I'll sign it if you want.
You know how to reach me.

Press Release:

March 29 - April 1, 2012

The AIPAD Photography Show New York, one of the most important international photography art events, will be presented by The Association of International Photography Art Dealers (AIPAD), March 29 – April 1, 2012.

More than 75 of the world's leading photography art galleries will present a wide range of museum-quality work, including contemporary, modern and nineteenth-century photographs, as well as photo-based art, video, and new media, at the historic Park Avenue Armory in New York City's Upper East Side.

PARK AVENUE ARMORY | 643 PARK AVENUE | NEW YORK, NY 10065

***

The Catherine Edelman Gallery Booth is #101.  I'll be there on Friday with never before exhibited prints, along with selections from other of her amazing selection of Gallery Artists.

www.edelmangallery.com/gallery…

Last year was the first year I ever went, and couldn't stay long, but it is an amazing show.
This year I am in for the full day.
New works, classic prints, and the Armory itself.
If you are on the East Coast and you can swing it you should try to go.

But I always catch up eventually. It would be nice if you paid a visit.

There is a book 'The Perfect Medium: Photography and theOccult' which has a tremendous selection of spirit photographs. (Best one, Mary Todd Lincoln in widows weeds with the ghost of her beloved Abe.)   The images were absurd but people believed in them because there was the perception of photography as truth, and they had faith. So do I, in my own way, which is why I spent a full day last week pushing all the furniture in the green room out into the hall and made a theater. Then I set the stage.  There is a limited number of times I can do this, this series will soon fade to black.

The line up.
Today was to be cleaning day which is why I am sitting on the floor playing with pictures. I pieced together the last three I did, out of sequence, and I think they fit together like pieces of a puzzle. It was not intentional. I like to think I am conscious that which I do but I am not infrequently wrong on that point.
